Workshops
Workshops are based around sound recording and mapping of the surrounding environment as a way into thinking about what makes up an environment. Architecture is dynamic and is not just about a static building or structure. Recording sound helps participants to avoid their visual senses and assumptions and rethink their environment; how it is used, who uses it, the feeling of a space, its movement; a constant changing organism. These workshops are adaptable to a range of contexts and themes; from Acoustics in GCSE Science class, AV media training for students, Educational use of sound, to collaborative art projects for groups with new media organisations.
